Long before there was a company, there was a kid who loved the outdoors, the smell of fresh-cut wood, and the satisfaction of creating something real. Adam Borland grew up building forts, mowing lawns, and taking on small projects whenever he could. One winter day, while the snow was falling, his parents looked out the window to find him on the deck, rebuilding railings simply because he saw a better way to do it. That drive to build stronger and better has never left.

After high school, Adam attended Alfred State to become an electrician, but construction remained his passion. He continued taking on decks, siding, windows, doors, gazebos, fencing, and interior projects like flooring, drywall, and framing. Over time, his work expanded to full additions and major renovations. In recent years, he has deepened his skills by working alongside a master mason and is now completing a full, top-to-bottom home renovation. Every project added another layer of experience, craftsmanship, and confidence.

Today, Boarland Construction is an owner-operated company with a small, dedicated crew, serving homeowners throughout Saratoga County and the Capital Region. We specialize in decks, siding, exterior construction, framing, drywall, and thoughtful remodels for kitchens, baths, and living spaces. We are especially proud to work on lake homes and long-term family residences where quality, durability, and pride of ownership truly matter.
